We decided for our Family Home Evening activity to carve our pumpkins. McKenna was so excited about this all day long. She wanted to wear her Halloween socks all day to get ready. And tomorrow she is so excited to wear her "Kunk" outfit, or skunk as we might call it. So as normal for our kids when we know they are going to get dirty we get down to underwear and diapers. Well, the girls do anyways. So sorry about the underwear pictures of McKenna. But we had a ton of fun and now the pumpkins are outside ready for Halloween.
Here McKenna is taking her turn scooping out the gross stuff inside the pumpkin, Matt and McKenna took turns so we wouldn't be up all night waiting for her to finish scooping it out.
I had to put this picture because you can see that even in her underwear she didn't want to take off her Halloween socks. Cute girl!

Here's McKenna's pumpkin all carved and ready to go.
As you can see Lily had fun organizing all the goop on the table.
Now Lily helps mom scoop some out of her pumpkin. Okay and a word to the wise if you plan on carving a pumpkin try not to pick the green one's because they look cute with some green, or at least makes sure to have some serious time on your hands. It took forever.
Our finished product. Oh and Matt's pumpkin is the BYU "Y" and mine says Boston.

Awesome job guys!! And McKenna and Lily are too cute! Wish I could have been there to see it in person!
Of course Matt would carve a "Y" into his pumpkin! Daron has been missing his BYU football buddy. Though occasionally he is able to get together with his brother and nephews.
McKenna's pictures crack me up. Just socks and underwear.
