Big Project and Birthday Wish!

So for my birthday I asked Matt if we could rip out the big nasty bush in front of our place in put in some smaller nicer looking plants. He didn't want to say yes but I told him that's what I really wanted and then he said yes. 5 mins later I was outside chopping away at the big nasty itself. If you look right under the front windows there is a long green bush, "the big nasty" as I will now call it.

we even found a little friend in the garden before finishing everything, and now I wish I would have known about toad houses, he now lives under our back deck. here is the finished product minus the grass we planted and extra mulch laid down around the plants.

Summer Fun!

We have made some great friends next door to us and our girls love playing together, so I decided to take some pictures of them playing together. Enjoy!

Jack is on the move!

I set him in the middle of the girls room during their bath time so he wouldn't get hurt and after 5 minutes I checked on him and this is how I found him. And he got mad at me for taking him out too.

Cousins Visit

6 Month Check Up

Our little man is not so little. He just went in for his check up and weighed in at 18 lbs and is 28.5" long. Yes that is right he takes after my side of the family. I have a brother that is 6' 4" so maybe we have a basketball player on our hands:) So Jack decided that he didn't like the clothes he was wearing and had a blow out right when we arrived at the doctor's office. I thought oh great, so we get in the room and I change him then get his diaper on and turn to look for his clothes in the diaper bag. Only to find that he had these blue pants and no shirt. I couldn't put him in the poopy outfit so he went out with a bang and will always be remembered in that office. Thank goodness it was warm.
