Baby boy is coming on December 26th (due to C-section). So to say the least we aren't going anywhere for Christmas. But we can't wait to meet and see the little guy. His sisters are really excited and I know that he will think that he has 3 mothers when he's born. And thanks to my Mother-in-law and Mom who are both coming out to help us out. And yes I know it's not straight, MJ was dying to take the picture.

Trunk or Treat
Our ward party was a lot of fun. And wow what a turn out. There were so many people and kids there. I loved the costumes and there was a scary cake contest. That was a great idea! They looked gross but tasted good.

Living in New England
I have started to love it, but it takes some getting use to. One thing that is so unique is the way the houses are painted. Here are a few examples. Oh and the little white plaque things on the houses are saying when they were built and who lived there. Since we live in such a historical area there are a ton with the dates on them, most are from the 1800's and 1700's but there was one in the 1600's the other day. Enjoy!
Oh and the last one is just for Halloween, since we find some pretty scary looking houses too.

Painting Pumkins
So instead of carving our pumpkins this year we decided to paint them. It turned out to be a lot of fun and all of them came out looking cute. Oh and this method didn't case a huge mess like scooping out all the insides usually does. Oh and for more pictures click here.

Pumpkin Patch
So my big wish was for us to have a tradition of getting to go pumpkin picking as a family every year. So this year since we were in a new place I told Matt that I just wanted to go somewhere that we could pick our own pumpkins right off the vine. Well, we searched and this farms website said you can pick pumpkins. As you will see my idea and their idea of picking pumpkins is way different. So we didn't get to pick them from the vine, but we did get some apples from the trees and got to pick out some nice hot cider donuts and cold cider to top it off. Thanks to our friends the Christens for coming with us. We had a blast! Our group minus Matt
LL and MJ picked their pumpkins off the ground from the big bunch of pumpkins, okay I'll drop it now, I really am over it.
LL riding the horse tire swing, and look dirty knees. She really does take after me, right mom!

look at those poor wasted apples in the ditch, it made me sad, I just wished that they were all eaten ones and not nice juicy looking ones
then walking down the rows and seeing all the apples under the trees. I know it's late in the season so some start to fall off, but how many were just wasted?! I know you can tell I'm from Washington State and miss apples
Where is our Prince?
So for LL's birthday she got a Cinderella dress-up set and for MJ's birthday she got an Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) dress-up set. Thank you to Uncle Kyle and Aunt Carrie for those. But now we have a problem. They use to take turns pretending to be the prince and now they just argue over who will be the prince because the both want to be a princess now. Our poor boy is in for a treat, just kidding.
Preschool
Sorry this is late, but MJstarted Preschool about two weeks ago and just loves it. I can't believe that I have a 4 year old and that she is already telling me that she is turning 5. Her preschool is at the YMCA and we only live about a 10 minute walk from it. So we get to make a fun family walk twice a week, unless it's raining.

Portland, Maine
We had a blast visiting some friends that just moved to Maine from Washington State. It was a nice day trip and a beautiful day to spend time outside. Portland is a cute tourist town/city with a cute downtown. a view of some of the tour boats that will take you up and down the coast
Matt and MJ waiting for lunch, not pictured are all the stinking birds that kept dive bombing us while we waited. Rats with wings, or pigeons seem to show up no matter where you are.

1. I love watching college football, but hate NFL. And this makes Matt happy too.
2. I like to have soap in my dishwasher whenever there are dirty dishes, so I know that they are dirty and no one has to ask.
3. I have a sewing problem. I always seem to have about 5 quilts going at once and I got this trait from my mom the quiltaholic.
4. I forget to get laundry out of the dryer. It will sit there until I do laundry again, but at least I know it's clean.
5. I love donuts or something sweet for breakfast, but I can't eat sugar cereal it hurts my teeth all day long if I have a bowl in the morning.
6. I have an extra bone in my feet. That one I got from my dad.
7. I loved growing up in a small town where everyone knows everyone, but I love the big city even more. Thank goodness we are next to Boston!

Stone Zoo
We took a fun trip to the zoo with some friends the other day. All the girls had a blast together. I don't like taking my camera to the zoo because it's usually just a picture of the girls looking at animals, but with all the girls doing it some turned out really cute. Enjoy!
