Finger Painting: Take 2

Sometimes mom's have to learn the hard way. At least the finger paint was washable and came right off. But she thought it was pretty funny at the moment and was smacking her hands together. I loved that MJ just kept on painting away not even noticing that LL was making a mess. She usually says, "Mom, LL made a mess again".

What crazy hair!

So after many battles with our cute LL and her crazy hair. We finally took her to have her hair cut. It is so cute and fits her personality so well. I wish the picture of her hair cut was a better one of her, but now you can see her hair and some of our trials with it.
I guess one down fall is that I can't do bath time Mohawks anymore.
This picture is my favorite. I just thought of big bangs,Texas hair, or 80's hair do's.

now it's short and cute, I usually put something in her hair too.

Haircut

MJ went in for her first real haircut the other day. It was just crazy hair all the time and needed to be done. Now we all love it, she doesn't cry when combing through her hair and it's not crazy. But I'm so sad I forgot my camera to take pictures of the hair being cut, oh well, maybe next time.

Happy V-Day

I know, I know it's not the 14th anymore. But better late then never, Right!? So I decided that I would make some cute blankets for the girls for V-day instead of candy. They loved them, but what was I thinking, I wanted the candy! Oh well, better for all of us I guess. MD was cute and all though he was sick (really sick) he wrote a poem and we had brownies. It was great!

Frog or Bear?

So here's my confession, I had a blanket I called "silky" and a monkey that named "squeaker". So my girls have taken after my traits and have lovey's (and I know that's not a word, but it's what we call them) of their own. Oh and we have very creative names for them. Frog for MJ and Bear for LL. So here is my question for you. What was your lovey? Blanket, stuffed animal, etc?

Packages from Grandma and Grandpa

These are some pj's that "Ga-ma" made for the girls. They are so cute in them. And of course they have bears on them. I think that I'd worry if we didn't get something with bears on them. Thank you Grandma!

Binky Replacement?

Since the binky has been taken away this has been her replacement. Silly girl thinks her bears nose will work instead.

Playing Outside

So I just got pictures of my brother and his kids playing outside. They have been getting hammered with snow out west and haven't had school for a whole week because of snow and power outages. So why not play in it if you can go do anything else right?! Kyle, Trevin and Tyson and a snowman
Trevin and Tyson and their snowmen

We played outside too, but there isn't any snow. It was nice enough the other day to do some yard work. So I gave the rake and broom to the girls and let them go to work. It only took them a couple of hours. Just kidding, but they did help get the porcupines (or better known as pinecones)

LL and MJ doing all the work.
LL thought the pile of pine needles was like a pile of leaves and jump in then said cheese.
Now this picture is for Grandpa E and Grandma P. MJ wanted you to see her pink pig pajamas.
